Microscan announces expanded capabilities in the QX Hawk imager, the world's highest performance barcode imager for multi-purpose code reading and identification applications. Expanded capabilities include the newly available X-Mode 3.0 firmware upgrade and accessory options, and the new QX Hawk CCD model.

The QX Hawk Update includes the following new features:

Added Symbologies The new X-Mode 3.0 firmware adds symbologies such as Aztec Code, Micro QR, Pharmacode, and various postal codes.		Ethernet/IP The Ethernet/IP protocol supports all standard PLCs and allows seamless integration with Allen Bradley’s latest version of Contrologix. The addition of XML now allows advanced programming.		New Accessories Newly released QX Hawk accessories allow use in a variety of rugged industrial environments. IR filters are available for laser marking immunity, and a glass window kit provides scratch resistance.
