Packaging

Increasing levels of automation and traceability are being implemented for quality control and efficiency across packaging lines for products such as food, beverages, and sundries.

In the case of some products, safety and packaged product verification can be an essential requirement, even enforced by law. On packaging lines, Microscan products are used to track production data, guide the movement of goods, ensure label print quality, guarantee correct label application, and final lot tracking. Microscan readers offer Data Matrix reading and high read rates, and our Quadrus imagers can provide symbol quality reporting and verification.

Commonly applied Microscan products include laser barcode scanners such as QX-870 and MS-9, as well as  machine vision systems and MINI HAWK imagers.
